Crow's Nest: the second part of fall

What a difference a week makes! We still haven't had a hard frost and our annual flowers are still blooming, but now it looks like November—which it is—and not October. A majority of the leaves have dropped and the dominant colors in the woods are shades of brown. There is still a lot of beauty out there, but it is of a different kind than the peak fall color.
