As the gold finches mob the feeder outside the office window I am reminded of other birds I have seen over the last few days.
I saw snow geese flying over, twice. Three times if you count the time I was in the hardware store parking lot.
A bluebird was checking out the winterberry holly yesterday. Soon the robins and bluebirds will devour the fruit.
Turkeys work their way up and down the hills; I saw some this morning. We scared up three wood ducks on French Creek on Sunday, and saw a great blue heron fly by.
