Natural Lands Trust can help landowners and managers with invasive plant problems. Preserve Manager Daniel Barringer has prepared a presentation on the topic of invasive plants, and is available to present it to groups.
Invasive plants can replace native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers, killing these plants and altering the vegetation structure, species composition, and wildlife value of a site. Invasive plants can destroy the features landowners want to protect.
The presentation describes the impacts of invasive plants, shows pictures of many the worst invaders in our region, and covers tools and techniques to control them.
